Birce Akalay joins the case of Son Yaz, Season 2
Actress Birce Akalay has received an offer from the production company O3Medya, which produces the Turkish series Son Yaz, to join the cast of the series.
Birce Akalay has agreed with the producers of the series and will participate in the second season of Son Yaz. She will play the character of Sare, an intelligence specialist.
The Turkish actress, who has finished filming the Netflix series Kuş Uçusu, with her costar Ibrahim Çelikkol, will soon join Alperen Duymaz, Ali Atay and Hafsanur Sancaktutan for the second season of the series.

Unlike season 1 of the series Son Yaz which was set in Izmir, this season 2 of the series will take place in Istanbul.
There will be a time jump between the end of Son Yaz season 1 and the beginning of season 2. It is not yet known how long this time jump will last
The script of Son Yaz season 2 foresees that there will be a love relationship between Selim (Ali Atay) and Sare (Birce Akalay).
Birce Akalay (Sare) and Hafsanur Sancaktutan (Yagmur) thus become the main female characters in the series Son Yaz. Birce replaces actress Funda Eryiğit who played the role of Canan, Selim’s wife and Yagmur’s mother.
The first season of the series Son Yaz has 21 episodes. It aired on FoxTv from 4 January to 4 June 2021.
